Arriving by air

By bus

There is a shuttle bus service operated by Bizkaibus (number A3247) that links Bilbao with the airport. These buses are easy to recognize since they are yellow urban buses.

At the airport, the departure point is opposite the Arrivals Terminal. There are several stops in the city of Bilbao located at (1) Alameda Recalde, 14; (2) Gran Vía (Government Regional Office); (3) Gran Vía, 74. The last stop is located in Termibus (very close to the Conference site), an intermodal bus terminus station. This is a strategic transport hub linked with San Mames Metro Station, local urban buses, the Bilbao tram, taxis and short distance trains operated by RENFE.

From the city of Bilbao the bus departs from Termibus, every 20 minutes and stops at Gran Vía, 79; Plaza Moyúa and Alameda Recalde 11, the only three other stops in their way to the airport.
