Welcome Reception – Monday, September 13rd (19:00)

The Welcome Reception will take place in Bilbao's Council(Town Hall) at 19:00.

The building was built in the former site of a convent, in the district of Uribarri, in 1892 by Joaquín Rucoba. It was built in Baroque style. One of the highlights of the building is the Arab hall, where the Welcome reception will take place, which is a richly decorated hall that follows the Neo-Mudéjar style and resembles the decorations found in the Alhambra of Granada. After the Welcome Reception (about 20:30), there will be time to enjoy the city.
